V1.0 Post-Demo Release: Time to Speedrun
Moin moin!
Since the Demo's Release, I've had a blast watching Discord Users race to complete the Demo faster then the others. Most of them took around 30 Minutes to clear the Demo on their first attempt. However, during their second Play-through, they managed to finish it in just about 11 Minutes. It made me rethink my initial claim that this Game was an "EZ PZ" Puzzle Game... turns out, it's a bit more challenging when you're not the one who spent Weeks in these Levels brainstorming Ideas and building them.
This got me thinking: Should I add a Timer to the "Puzzles, Portals & Trains" Demo?
With SGDQ right around the Corner, I should probably get this Game fit for Speedrunning, huh? (jk)
But yeah, I've already worked on some Fixes and added a few minor Features:
HOTFIXES
- Continue Where You Left Off: Now the "Continue" Option in the Main Menu only appears if you've played at least 1 Level, as it should.
- No Moar RIP Headphone Users: When you first start the Game, the Sound Options are now set to half the Volume.
ADDED FEATURES
- There Is (No) ESC: You can now also open the InGame Menu using the "ESC" Key.
- No Email, No Problem: Feedback won't require an Email anymoar. Instead, you'll be directed to a short Google Form with about 11 Questions.
If you encountered any Bugs or have Feature Requests for the Final Release of "Puzzles, Portals & Trains" don't hesitate...
Try the Feedback Button in the Game or leave a Comment below.
That's all for now - read ya next time!
